Another new review! This one from Adam McLean, woohoo!

Tarot reading

This tarot deck looks nice, with colours and it is also a good tool for tarot reading because it is composed of a good number of cards instead of tarot major arcana which are only 22...
:-)

Christine Payne-Towler

Thank you for the kind remarks, Tarot reading!

Here are a few other reviews that have appeared recently around the net. The first is from Mary Greer, patron of all things Tarot.

Thank you all for your fine responses to our Tarot!

This is about the genre of Continental Tarots in general, as the Camoin Tarot is a restoration of an antique pack from before the time of Etteilla. It's great to see a mainstream source actually care about the history! (Even if it was put in the fashion section...)

YASUHIKO HIROTA

Hello, I am very interested in your Tarot of the Holy Light. Please let me know the total cost with shipping to Japan. Thank you.

Christine Payne-Towler

For Yasuhiko and everybody: The cards cost the same no matter where we ship them, so no matter where you are outside the USA, the postage is the same as it is for Europe. I hope that helps!

Where is the little white book that is supposed to come with Tarot decks? I bought this deck, but it came with no such book, so I have not idea how to interpret the cards.

Psychic

Hi, this is the cost of tarot card (the holy light)?
thanks

Christine Payne-Towler

Marilyn -- Horrors! This has to be fixed immediately! The LWB is outside the box because the printer misinterpreted our instructions and sealed the deck itself as well as the outer box. But we include a LWB in with every deck we send, at least we try to! I'll find you at PayPal and send you another one, but to be sure, would you please send me a private e-mail at christine@tarotuniversity.com so I can't possibly forget to do this? Thanks!

Christine Payne-Towler

Psychic -- Yes this is the place where you can buy the Tarot of the Holy Light. If you are within the US or Canada, the cost is $26.00 postpaid. If you are anywhere else, there is an additional charge for the shipping and handling.

You might also notice that we now also offer a signed and numbered copy for collectors.

Thanks for your interest!

Anne Wellington

The Tarot of the Holy Light has been delivering some amazingly insightful and accurate readings! This is a powerful deck with cards that draw the reader into hidden depths and nuances of meaning that create and forge new revelatory awareness. Thank you Ms. Payne Fowler for this marvelous gift to the tarot community. Everyone should have this deck in their collection.

Anne Wellington

Ms. Payne - Towler I would like to purchase the book that accompanies this deck. Is it still available? I no longer see reference to it on the website.
Thank you.

Christine Payne

Hi folks -- Seems I got a little distracted here... so sorry!

The book is still in production. I've been having a whopping great behind-the scenes conversation with various Tarot historians, which has been very helpful in helping me focus this volume for you.

The best advice I can give you is "watch this space", and if you are the least bit concerned then you are encouraged to write to me at
christine@tarotuniversity.com

I appreciate your kind feedback, Anne, and thank you for stopping by to give it!

As for "believing in" the cards, that's a personal thing. Myself, I "use" the cards, along with other tools, to sharpen my intuition and talk to myself about the probabilities available to me at any given moment. I find it uncanny how apt the cards can be in helping me open the closed or stuck parts of my thinking. But to each their own!

Blessings to all, cpt

Jack

So excited to receive this beautifully mysterious deck. (:

Phil Ginchereau

Recieved the deck yesterday. What a mesmerizing display! Really looking forward to diving in. I like how you've organized the deck, the 3 pillars representing the modalities of the 3 decans. Not sure I totally get the assignment of the planets in the minors, though. Rulership and exaltation for sure, but don't totally get the pattern yet. Fun! Thanks so much to both of you for your intense gift to the tarot world.

man

thats kind of how I felt , like the meanings dont flow from one card to the other like they just say this , and this and this and thats all. and it does make sneess that they are much more simple, they show one image of a meaning/event , on the thoth there's a lot going on in every card. it's gonna be hard but I'll make the switch , SLOWLY. maybe compare cards side by side use other decks while learning the thoth. I like how you are a lil sceptic and dont just accept everything as true.

Just wondering when a companion book of the Tarot of the Holy Light will be available :)

If you really want to read the Tarot in depth and artlcaceuy, you need to forget about all these various haphazard systems. Concentrate on learning the associations of the Western Qabalah for each of the sephiroth and 22 paths in conjunction with the . Get a deck like Aleister Crowley's Thoth deck or one of the modern ceremonial decks. Forget about fluff crap like Rider-Waite or any of the silly Fairy decks out there. Get serious about magick and mysticism and you will EARN the right to read Tarot properly. If you just want to be a run of the mill fortune teller conning and bilking people then develop an imagination and just make crap up.

Psychic stuff runs in my blood, im able to read cards, talk to spirits(including my guidraan angle), im starting to get remote viewing, i really dont need cards to tell one their future im starting to be able to take away peoples physical pain and i also see future events in my dreams.lol at night before i sleep i can hear random peoples conversations, iv grown up around this stuff

Tarot Readings

These cards look beautiful. I’m really excited to get my own deck, I’ve been reading nothing but good things about this.

When are people going to get it, you cnanot label the occult. The occult stands for hidden wisdom which nine our of ten people will never, ever understand. The occult isn't fairy tales, but real spiritual and external intelligence. Albert Einstein had occult, magical knowledge. No one discovered what he did before he came out with his equations, yet people could understand. He was a spiritual man and his famous quote, the most beautiful thing we can experience is the unknown , proved that.

The problem with Tarot for ditniavion is the fact, that it is accepted as a ditniavion tool because its so-told ancient origins and connections with people who built the yramids or wrote the Bible. But these connections are a simple lie. If the truth was well-known, that Tarot was created as a card game 500 years ago, it might not be a well running bussines for the occultist industry. And there are many people who like the truth, and like the Tarot with its 500 years old history and complexity.
